Where can I find the contract I will sign for the rental?

Is a deposit required?

Yes, 30% of the equipment's value. It must be paid in cash upon collection.

I've never used certain equipment. Can I try them?

I am a current student. Am I eligible for discounts?

Yes! 15% for audiovisual students. Send your student ID and a document to noleggio@mayarent.com

Can I add items when I pick up?

Yes, if available. However, we recommend placing a new order or replying to your confirmation specifying what you'd like to add.

Can I rent if I'm underage?

Only if the contract is in the name of a parent/guardian. A signed authorization form is also required on-site.

My shoot lasts one day, but it's far from Bologna. Do I pay for more days?

Yes, all days during which the equipment is in use count, including travel time.

Can I cancel a confirmed rental?

Yes, up to 48 hours beforehand without penalty. After that, 50% will be retained. On the same day or without notice, the full amount will be retained.

Is insurance included?

No, insurance is not included in the rental price. By signing the contract, you assume full responsibility for any damage to or theft of the rented equipment.

My set is for one day but it's far from Bologna. Do I pay for more days?

Yes, all days the equipment is in use are counted, including for travel.

Yes, if you pick up after 5:00 PM the day before and return by 11:00 AM the next day, you won't pay for extra days.

It's calculating more rental days for me, even though the set is for one day. Why?

The system counts one day only if you pick up after 5:00 PM the day before and return by 11:00 AM the next day. Outside these hours, an extra day is added.

Someone is picking up for me. What do I need to know?

The person picking up must bring identification and sign for the courier. Responsibility transfers to the rental holder only upon delivery.

I can't change a setting. What can I do?

Check the online manual. If you don't find an answer, call us at +39 329 086 5344.

The equipment was damaged during the rental. What now?

Immediately write to noleggio@mayastudios.it describing the damage (photos/videos are preferred). We will help you find a solution. The procedures are outlined in the contract.

My equipment has been stolen. What should I do?

Report it immediately to the police. Bring the Delivery Note (DDT) with you. Then send us a copy of the report via email to noleggio@mayastudios.it. Still show up on the return date.

Can I extend my rental period?

Only by making a new reservation. If you don't return the items on time without prior notice, you risk incurring extra costs.

I am late for the return. Are there penalties?

Yes, at least one extra day will be charged. In the worst cases, you will also be charged for damages caused by the delay.

I cannot return the items in person. Can I send someone else?

Yes, the person returning the items must be present for the final check and sign. If anything is missing, they assume responsibility for it.

Can I send the return with a courier?

Not recommended. If absolutely necessary, you are responsible for any damages or missing items. The package will only be accepted 'subject to verification.'

Something is missing during the inspection. What happens?

You sign 'subject to verification,' and any repair or refund procedures begin. If a part has been swapped or forgotten, a new return is arranged.

How can I prove that I returned everything?

Our staff performs the check and finalizes the contract. We will send you a copy via email. The technical inspection continues for the next 24 hours.
